About Us

The Review Group of Newspapers are an integral part of the fabric of Marple and High Peak communities and we are proud to be the true voice of the area - a platform for all local organisations, events and personalities.

Local news is at the heart of the Marple & High Peak Review, giving people a voice for their issues, a noticeboard for their events and a spotlight for their achievements.

Increasingly, people are rediscovering the value of local information and want to know more about the community on their doorstep.

Our titles have created a strong affinity with the local areas and in continuing our commitment to both titles we regularly add to our stable of experienced journalists.

Our editorial staff know the area well with many years combined experience of reporting from the local towns and villages, making us the ONLY news based publication in the Marple & High Peak area.

2016 sees our 25th business anniversary and we continue to go from strength to strength, with our titles increasing in popularity each year. Every edition will carry pages of stories and photographs that really matter to those who live and work here, making the Review a rewarding read from cover to cover.

Our flagship titles have verified free distribution, organised in-house. Our distributors are predominantly semi-retired or retired professional people who live within the catchment area and their knowledge is vital to the success of these titles.
