Gingerbread Festival - 'a wonderful family day out'

The winner of the children's category Charlotte Vickers' spectacular house

The Gingerbread Festival (now in its 3rd year) will be held at Whaley Bridge Uniting Church from 10am - 3pm on January 13th 2018.

The first year's competition of homemade Gingerbread structures saw over 24 entries with a  £50 prize for adults and book tokens for the children's categories.

Each year exhibitors get more and more creative. Several of the entries were made from Gingerbread -but not traditional Gingerbread houses, in fact the adult winning entry last year was a pirate ship, complete with guns and rigging.

The winner of the children's category was Charlotte Vickers who made a spectacular house.
