Back for a fifth year, the Whaley Bridge Festival of Christmas Trees at Holy Trinity Church is a real feast for the eyes which more people than ever will now able to enjoy.

Christmas Tree

The indoor forest of shimmering trees brings a steady stream of visitors from the surrounding area. Seasonal music and entertainment add to the atmosphere. Also returning is the pop up market, which will have more stalls than ever before.

The festival will be in full flow from Friday November 24 to Sunday 26. Admission £1, free for children. The schedule at a glance is as follows:

Friday 24, 5pm-8pm: pop up market, entertainment from Taxal & Fernilee, Kettleshulme and Whaley Bridge primary schools, visit from Santa (6-7pm), refreshments including mulled wine and mince pies.

Saturday 25, 10am-4pm: pop up market, Santa (2-4pm), refreshments, raffle and tombola.

Sunday 26: 12.30-4pm: pop up market, entertainment from Whaley Bridge Band (2-4pm), refreshments, raffle and tombola.

For the first time, the trees will remain in place for a few more days until Friday 1 December. The exact hours when you can pop into the church to look round will be confirmed nearer the time.
