The festival experience is open to all…

Festivals are no longer the preserve of the young and the hip.

Pretty much anything goes now as these summer events have been opened up to all ages with a plethora of tastes catered for.

For the over-60s it’s not just music that is drawing people in – food and drink, literature, arts and crafts are all part of the offering.

And it’s not too late this summer to experience the festival vibe. Here are some notable events still remaining on the festival calendar:

Broadstairs Folk Week, Broadstairs, Kent, August 5-12

This folk festival takes place in the delightful little Kent coastal resort of Broadstairs and showcases hundreds of different events.
